The main character of the wine is the volcanic soil and its Petit Verdot grape variety. Powerful finish with the intense memory of black fruit compote.
Maar de Cervera-Petit Verdot
Petit Verdot 100%
The most important notes of this great wine can be highlighted as:
- Appearance: High layer cherry red color. Very vivid trim with purple tones still. Dense, slow and quite colored tears.
- Aroma: Very powerful on the nose. Acid black fruit and plum. Vanilla, toasted and toffee notes that integrate perfectly with the fruit. A mineral touch and hints of undergrowth end up providing greater complexity.
- Taste: Very intense from the first contact in the mouth. Everything is at a high "volume". Great phenolic intensity that, thanks to its maturity, slides without clinging. Its generous acidity gives it agility and the unctuous sensation evokes a captivating perception of fullness.
Everything perfectly harmonized, in balance, like an explosion of sensations and flavors.
In gastronomy it is ideal to take in the "tapas" of design and quality. To enjoy with meals based on meats and meat sauces. To drink throughout the meal.
In order for the wine to retain its original characteristics and evolve positively, it must be kept at a temperature between 12ºC and 18ºC, protected from light and humidity. Do not expose to high temperatures, sunlight or intense light (shop windows or shelves unless they are properly air-conditioned and conditioned).
Suitable for immediate consumption, although it is recommended to store it so that it acquires a greater balance and complexity.
