The Empire of the Rising Sun surrenders to the quality and flavor of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1758 Family Reserve, granting it a Gold Medal in two of its most prestigious international competitions in the world of EVOO, Olive Japan 2021 and Japan Olive Oil Prize (JOOP) 2021.
We say goodbye to a month of May full of joys for the Finca Encomienda de Cervera, which celebrates once again the new recognition granted to the AOVE 1758 Family Reserve with two new Gold Medals that come directly from Japan from two of the most important competitions of the world in Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Not forgetting also that Japan is one of the most important markets for olive oil in the world.
In Olive Japan 2021, 23 countries participated in its tenth edition, meeting the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in awarding medals to the best oils from around the world. The judges were invited from major olive oil producing countries and Japan, under the recommendation of the Japan Olive Oil Sommeliers Association. (OSAJ).
Japan Olive Oil Prize -JOOP 2021-, is an international competition that aims to promote extra virgin olive oils of all origins in Japan. In this way, the best olive oils chosen from the nearly 500 participants from 20 different countries have already been revealed.
