Our Wines

Living soil of volcanic origin

Tempranillo Cencibel old vineyard has been expanded to 60 hectares, adding other Tempranillo clones certified by the Designation of Origin (D.O.), Rioja (RJ-51), Ribera del Duero (CL-79) and Toro (CL306), as well as new Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Graciano, and Malbec red grape varieties, and Airen, Sauvignon Blanc, Verdejo, Albariño, and Chardonnay white grape varieties.

These photos show the different types of soil – clayey, calcareous, rocky, and volcanic black.

The winery, dating back to the XIX Century, has been restored and extended for wine production using the Ganimede system that allows controlled, high-quality fermentation and maceration. The Barrel Room, located at the freezing level, has also been restored and conditioned to obtain high quality maturing and aging under the best conditions.

Our wines have unique characteristics based on the particularity of the volcanic soil in which the vineyards are grown, with a microclimate with cool nights that create three river basins which balance acidity during the maturing stage, and the altitude of the valleys and hills (750-850 meters).

The grapes are carefully selected and harvested during low-temperature hours. Our wines are carefully and selectively made, resulting in excellent quality, well-matured wines.

The grape varieties allow our technical team to obtain incredible wines, both single and multi varietal.
